With a large merchandising team dedicated to two clients across Zambia, Promexs were in need of a mobility solution to consolidate data captured out in the field and to better manage their merchandisers’ field activities. Furthermore, they needed a way of capturing orders and stock-levels accurately in real-time with the ability to provide analytical data to their principles on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

A multitenancy platform has been used to enable a subset of merchandisers to wear both the Varun Beverages and Creambell hats as they represent both principles.

FigJam’s Stock Survey tool allowed Promexs 110 merchandiser strong team to conduct daily stock surveys across all of Creambell and Varun Beverages’ customers in Zambia. The raw stock level data enabled FigJam to provide highly valuable business intelligence pertaining to stock visibilities and out-of-stock events for all SKU’s through-out Zambia on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

FigJam’s ordering tool has empowered the merchandisers to negotiate and submit orders direct from the field directly to head office. The sales orders captured through FigJam has allowed for the creation of powerful sales reports which complement the stock reports.
In addition, FigJam’s check-in/out and photo functions have given Promexs full coverage and understanding of their field team activities from the comfort of their own desks.
